  4. Recovery
  5. Post-procedure care
  6. Follow up appointment

The journey as a patient with us starts with a call to Annamaria at St. Vincent's Clinic to book an appointment - call (02) 8382 6671. We are usually able to see patients within one week of your call.

When going to your first appointment, please bring along a referral letter from your general practitioner (GP), as well as your Medicare card (if applicable). It is also helpful if you bring a medication or allergy list if you take multiple medications or allergies, although not essential.

During your consultation, Professor Lord will advise you regarding diagnosis and treatment. This will allow you to make an informed decision regarding your health problem.

Should you decide to have surgery, the operation will be performed either in Darlinghurst - at St Vincent's Hospital (public) or St Vincent's Private Hospital - or at Macquarie University Hospital, which is near Ryde.

After surgery, your post-operative care will be monitored by Professor Lord and you will be required to attend a post-operative appointment.
